Learner-centered design is a workshop design philosophy that builds the session around the participant's experience rather than the presenter's content. Success is typically measured by engagement and satisfaction. It was the first evolution beyond lecture-centered design and is a prerequisite for transformation-centered design, not a substitute for it.
